SHARE AND SHARE ALIKE

Today's information comes to us via our friends at AOL: Have you ever wondered what these symbols do: (look right)

Just as you were taught as a child, it's nice to share, and the Internet is trying to make it even easier for you to share all the good stuff it has to offer. Check out the new "SHARE" button in the upper-right corner. You've probably seen this or similar looking buttons on different Web sites around the Net. Using buttons like "SHARE" or "ADD THIS" doesn't mean you'll spam everyone in your address book with emails. Instead, these buttons automatically bookmark and passively post content to your favorite social destinations like Digg, Facebook, Twitter, and others, so your friends can click if they want to based on your recommendation. You control which social network site you want to post the content to when you click the button. You can find out more about how to "ADD THIS" or "SHARE" content on help.aol.com.
